Officer - Can I please buy a Sanwhich?

At one point during recent times, I use to break my journey to get that heavy and mouthful big sanwhich filled with mayo and chicken. The addiction was so bad, that I used to get off the platform, request the transit officer to let me get a sanwhich and come back, eating it all the way to the work. Or sometimes, FRIED yes FRIED Spring rolls.

But now, I dont even think about it, I have started walking from station to work and see many coffee shops on the way selling the same stuff, but I am determined to stick to my morning bowl of cereal and fruits. I enjoy muesli with yogurt and fruit. What's your story of a change? or breaking an addiction and what have you substituted it with? I would be interested to know your story too. Please comment if you want to share your story.

The Beginning - 25th March

I just logged in and went to the forums area to see two warm up challanges. Make one small change and drink water.
I straight away thought of making a change of walking to work atleast one way for 25 minutes. I always took a bus, but at the back of my mind I use to think about walking, but after getting out on the street it was too tempting to leave the bus that dropped me just in front of my office.

So , the same day, I walked back to train station, it took me 35 minutes and 2 breaks. I was huffing and puffing on a 2.5 kilometer walk. I could feel my bums hanging from my back, literally, when you have to drag your heavy body, you can feel the baggage.

Some how, I made it to the train station.

The Question that made me think by my Husband - Can you do it?

Before joining this program, I had ordered some weight loss capsules from US and started using them about an year ago. I worked hard and lost a couple of kilos but then again fell off the wagon. I stopped doing everything to get back to my worst shape ever. Heavier by 6 kilos, crossed 75 mark for first time in my life.

When I discussed about this new peogram, he asked me a simple question, Honey, I know you want to do it, you ordered some pills, went on a diet and then you fell off, will be able to do it this time? You still have half the bottles of that pill you ordered?

His question made me certain that I want this badly, I am going to prove myself without any fancy gimmicks, just weight loss with sheer hard work. I suffer with PCOS and Hypothyroidism since 10 years. I have always made it as an excuse for my weight loss, but not any more. I was determined to join this program and finally made a call on Monday 25th April.

I am sure that many of you must have face this situation, do you want to share?

12wbt - How, When and Why?

I was a whopping 76.6 Kgs, when I tried on my latest jeans and it refused to fit in my fat body. That was the real eye opening moment for me. I was contemplating about strarting a fitness routine when I kept getting these posts from 12wbt on facebook. I actually was really irritated by them and was going to disable them. But just thought of having a look before disabling them and I found my answer to the prayers.

I found it just God sent. I viewed Mishelle's videos, got my answers and got started on 25th April 2013. This is my first every 12WBT. I am in pre-season and already viewing a change in my life for better.
